PART 4 : HOSANNA PALM SUNDAY
So! I was prepared to go to church with Emnet today!
Thinking today was a normal Sunday! I had no idea today was a holiday.
( Hosanna Palm Sunday ) to be exact!
Allow me to take you on a visual journey of the culture here in Addis Ababa.
Ethiopia is known for all of its colorful festivals. With its culture stemming from Celebration. One of the biggest annual festivals in Ethiopia is a 3 day festival called Timket.
During this time. Thousands of locals get dressed in traditional white clothing. They all come together in unity. To fill all the streets to celebration.
With world travelers & explorers like myself from around the world to witness this event. It’s definitely a sight to see…..
Timkat is an aesthetically beautiful event to witness, a very spiritual one to take part in and an ancient tradition that is an honour to share with you all.
I’m honored & privileged to be a part of this event. I don’t take any of my experiences for granted.

What an amazing time we had….Immersed within the Habesha dance culture. Called Wiziwaze / Eskista. With good food, family, music, and dance.
That honey wine was CRAAAAAZY GOOD! One of my favorite international drinks!
