Mandala Suci Wenara Wana, or well known as Monkey Forest, is the sanctuary and natural habitat of the Balinese long-tailed Monkey, scientific name Macaca fascicularis. It is located at Padangtegal Ubud, Bali. About 749 monkeys live in this sanctuary.
Kanto Lampo Waterfall referred to by locals as Air Teriun Kanto Lampo. This is a hidden gem in Bali where you can soak in the pristine water, and take pictures on the insta-famous rock. Hidden deep in the jungles of Gianyar region, Kanto Lampo Waterfall can be a great sight for explora-tion. This scenic, seasonal waterfall with its water cascading down a stepped rick formation is a stunning view to behold.
Located in the village of Beng Gianyar, this waterfall is also very easy to get to.
Unlike other waterfalls, you don't have to go through miles and miles of hiking and trekking.
Within 15 minutes, you will reach the spot of the waterfall. The slightly under the radar location of Kanto Lampo adds to its uniqueness. The source of water unlike other waterfalls in the Bali region is a dam and this waterfall is absolutely new, but this formation of a new waterfall turned out to be a boon for the local villagers. As the tourists keep coming to visit this waterfall, the income of the villagers increases somewhat. If you are a photography enthusiast, you can climb up the rocks on the top of the waterfall and get some nice, instagram worthy pictures.
Pura Tanah Lot is a hugely popular tourist destination. It does have cultural significance to the Balinese, but this can be hard to discern amid the crowds, clamour and chaos - especially for the overhyped sunsets. It's the most visited and photographed temple in Bali; however, it has all the authenticity of a stage set - even the tower of rock that the temple sits upon is an artful reconstruction (the entire structure was crumbling) and more than one-third of the rock is artificial.
Pura Penataran Agung Lempuyang is a Balinese Hindu temple or pura located in the slope of Mount Lempuyang in Karan-gasem, Bali. Pura Penataran Agung Lem-puyang is considered as part of a complex of pura surrounding Mount Lempuyang, one of the highly regarded temples of Bali.
Tirta Gangga Water Palace also known locally as Taman Tirta Gangga, is a former water palace of Karangasem empire which one of east Bali's most famous sights. Situated about 6 kilometres north of the town of Amlapura, which feature 1.2ha of pools, ponds and fountains surrounded by tropical gardens. Breathtaking scenery with lush rice paddies back three levels of ornamental gardens with swimming pools, fountains, stone carvings, stepping stones, fish ponds, and airy pavilions.
The Tirta Gangga literally means water from the Ganges (India's holy Ganges Riv-er) and it is a site of some reverence for the Hindu Balinese. Strictly, the name refers to the water palace built here from the late 1940's to the 1950's by Gusti Gede Djelantik, heir to the former Kingdom of Karangasem. The centerpiece of the palace is an eleven tiered fountain and there are many beautiful carvings and statues adorning the gardens.
The stunning Tukad Cepung cave waterfall is one of the best waterfalls in Bali. In-donesia. On sunny days light rays stream into the cave, illuminating the waterfall in an almost magical fashion. Although Tukad Cepung is a relatively well hidden waterfall, in recent ears it has become something of an Instagram hotspot thanks to its unique location. It's a truly beautiful spot that is a worthy inclusion on any Bali itinerary.
